Just Chill

Just Chill

To celebrate International Women’s Day this year, we took a different kind of approach at Boxx - one that embraced stillness, softness, and self-connection.

On Sunday 9th March, our Just Chill event brought the community together for an afternoon of conversation, calm, and collective exhale.

Hosted by our founder Anna, the event opened with a powerful panel talk alongside Calais Lois - a breathwork and mindfulness coach - where we dove into the (very necessary) topic of rest.

Together, they unpacked what it really means to slow down in a culture that celebrates the grind. We talked about the pressure to always be “doing,” the impact of burnout on mental health, and why it’s time to stop wearing overworking like a badge of honour. The takeaway? Rest isn’t indulgent - it’s essential. And reclaiming it is radical.

Following the panel, Calais led a deeply restorative sound bath, guiding us through a grounding journey of breath, stillness and sonic healing. Surrounded by the gentle hum of bowls and soothing tones, the room softened. Minds quieted. Shoulders dropped. It was an hour to come back to ourselves - and it was magic.

Come for the conversation, stay for the stillness. That’s exactly what we did.

Thank you to everyone who joined us - for being open, curious, and willing to embrace the quiet. We’re proud to hold space for events that go beyond the physical, and speak to the full spectrum of what wellness really means.

Big love to Calais for her wisdom, energy, and calm presence - and to every woman in our Boxx fam who reminds us of the power of pausing. 🖤
