BEFORE YOU BOXX

BOOKING YOUR SPOT

To book your Boxx – head to the schedule page, choose your class and get signed up! You can also drop us a line at instudio@boxxldn.com if you have any booking questions.

We have 14 spaces in all our classes so to make sure you get a spot, we strongly suggest booking beforehand. If you wanna just rock up and risk it, then go for it! If the class is full though, you won’t be able to join.

PAYMENT

We accept payment via our online booking system or pay by card in studio.

WHAT TO WEAR?

Wear whatever you’re comfortable sweating in, but make sure it’s supportive, workout wear type clothing. Any cross-training trainers will be suitable. Please note trainers are required for all classes (except our Yoga classes).

NEW TO BOXING?

If you’re a beginner and this is all new to you, no worries, we got you – just make sure you show up 15 minutes before class and the instructors will run through the basic punches you need to know for a Punch + Flex class.

CHANGING FACILITIES + SHOWERS

We are only small so don’t have any showers or changing rooms in the studio but do have toilets where you can get changed if you need to.

TRAVEL/PARKING

We are right next door to South Woodford Station (central line) or you can park for 1 hour free outside on George Lane using the RingGo app (download beforehand and enter your car details etc to save time).

WHAT TO EXPECT

If you’ve given our online classes a go then you’ve had a sneaky taste of what kinda sesh you can expect.

BOXX classes will be a boxing based 

FLEX classes will be strength based

FLOW will be Yoga + dance based

CHECKING IN

ARRIVE

Please arrive 15 minutes before class starts so that you can check in, gear up and get yourself ready for class.

TIMING

Out of respect for your fellow Boxx fam please do not be late – we do not want you to miss the warm up as they are important for safety reasons. If you are more than 5 minutes late, you won’t be able to join and no refund will be issued.

No stress if you’re only a couple of minutes late though, you will still be able to join but expect to have to throw an extra round of punches!

NO SHOWS

If you have booked onto a class and don’t show up, we do not offer refunds or return your credits. We have limited space so if you want to cancel your booking, please let us know at least 12 hours before so that we can offer your spot to someone else!

Cancellations made before the 12 hours a class credit will be added back to your account.

GEARING UP

GLOVES

For our Boxx classes, gloves are a must! If you have your own, that’s cool – please bring them along otherwise no stress, we have our gloves ready to buy or borrow at the ready!

WRAPS

Wraps are needed for all Boxx classes so bring your own along otherwise, no probs – a pair is included in the first timer offer or you can purchase your own pair from reception.

MyZone Belt

You can try one of our demo MyZone belts to use during any of our Boxx or Flex classes. There are only 4 available per class on a first come first served noticed. To find out more about MyZone check out the ‘About‘ page or feel free to ask in-studio.

WATER

Staying hydrated is important so please remember to bring a bottle. We want to do what we can to help save the planet so no plastic bottles are sold in studio! If you do not wish to bring one you can purchase one of our stainless steel refill water bottles.

TOWELS

We provide small complimentary sweat towels or feel free to bring your own.

DURING CLASS (Punch + Flex)

THE TECHNIQUE

First timers will have a technique demonstration 5 minutes before class and instructors will be on hand to guide you throughout class.

THE WARMUP

Round 1 – get that heart rate up, in the zone and ready to tear it up!

THE ROUNDS

Round 2 – 11 – Alternate between rounds throwing punches on your own aqua filled punching bags and weights and strength work on the floor.

THE COOL DOWN

Round 12 – And recover. Stretch out those muscles and get that heart rate back down.

POST-CLASS

Post class fist bumps are obligatory! Feel Damn Good! Welcome to the Boxx Fam.
