BOOKING YOUR SPOT

We have 14 spaces (currently reduced to 8 spaces) in all our classes. You must book a spot before coming to class.

PAYMENT

We accept payment via our online booking system or pay by card in studio.

WHAT TO WEAR?

Wear whatever you’re comfortable sweating in, but make sure it’s supportive, workout wear type clothing. Any cross-training trainers will be suitable. Please note trainers are required for all classes (except our Yoga classes).

NEW TO BOXING?

If you’re a beginner and this is all new to you, no worries, we got you –  the instructors will run through the basic punches at the start for class and will be onhand throughout to guide you should need it.

CHANGING FACILITIES + SHOWERS

We are only small so don’t have any showers or changing rooms in the studio.

TRAVEL/PARKING

We are right next door to South Woodford Station (central line) or you can park for 1 hour free outside on George Lane using the RingGo app (download beforehand and enter your car details etc to save time).

CHECKING IN

ARRIVE

Please arrive 5 minutes before class starts so that you can check in, gear up and get yourself ready for class.

TIMING

Out of respect for your fellow Boxx fam please do not be late – we do not want you to miss the warm up as they are important for safety reasons. Unfortunately at this time, we cannot admit any latecomers.

NO SHOWS

If you have booked onto a class and don’t show up, for those on class packs we do not offer refunds and your credit will be lost. Monthly members will be charged £10 for a no show. We have limited space so out of respect for your fellow members, please cancel at least 12 hours before (via our website or the Glofox app) so that we can offer your spot to someone else! 

GEARING UP

GLOVES

For our Boxx classes, gloves are a must! If you have your own, that’s cool – please bring them along otherwise no stress, for your first class we have our gloves ready for you to borrow.

After the first class you will need to purchase your own pair to bring along. Please note, all gloves that are borrowed are sterilised for a minimum of 24 hours between each use.

WRAPS

Wraps are needed for all Boxx classes so bring your own along otherwise, no probs – a pair is included in the first timer offer or for future visits you can purchase your own pair from reception.

WATER

Staying hydrated is important so please remember to bring a bottle. We want to do what we can to help save the planet so no plastic bottles are sold in studio! If you do not wish to bring one you can purchase one of our stainless steel refill water bottles.

SWEAT TOWELS

We are currently not provided our complimentary sweat towels however, there is disposable paper tissue in the studio or feel free to bring your own.

DURING CLASS (Punch + Flex)

THE TECHNIQUE

Instructors will run through at start of class and be on hand to guide you throughout class.

THE WARMUP

Round 1 – get that heart rate up, in the zone and ready to tear it up!

THE ROUNDS

Round 2 – 11 – Alternate between rounds throwing punches on your own aqua filled punching bags and weights and strength work on the floor.

THE COOL DOWN

Round 12 – And recover. Stretch out those muscles and get that heart rate back down.

POST-CLASS

Post class fist bumps are obligatory! Feel Damn Good! Welcome to the Boxx Fam.
