Adult classes
What do I need to know for my first class?
Welcome, we cannot wait for you to try out your first class. Please have a read below to find out all you need to know...
YOUR FIRST TIME?
If you’re a beginner and this is all new to you, no worries, we got you!
For our Boxx classes, the instructors will run through the basic punches before your first class.
For our Reform classes, the instructors will run through everything you need to know before class.
For all other classes instructors will be on hand throughout to guide you or provide you with modifications should need them.
CHANGING FACILITIES + SHOWERS
We are only small so don’t have any showers but do have changing facilities.
No bags/coats permitted in the studio itself. We have coat hooks to hang anything which isn’t valuable and Lockers for you to store any valuables. Please note, you will need to bring a padlock.
TRAVEL/PARKING
We are right next door to South Woodford Station (central line) or you can park for 1 hour free outside on George Lane using the RingGo app (download beforehand and enter your car details etc to save time).
ARRIVE
We require first timers to arrive 15 minutes early so that you can fill out your health form, gear up and get yourself ready for class.
Please do not arrive late as you will not be allowed into class due to health and safety reasons.
LATE CANCELLATIONS/NO SHOWS
We have a strict late cancel policy. With limited spots in class and high demand, late cancellations and no-shows stop others from getting in. Please ensure you cancel your class 12 hours in advance otherwise you will lose your credit/get charged.

WHAT TO WEAR?
Wear whatever you’re comfortable sweating in, but make sure it’s supportive, workout wear type clothing. Any cross-training trainers will be suitable. Please note trainers are required for all classes (except our Form, Reform or Stretch classes).
BOXING GLOVES/WRAPS
For your first class we have our gloves ready for you to borrow and if you have purchased a welcome offer will be given a FREE pair which can be kept and used for future visits.
After the first class, however, you will need to purchase your own pair or hire a pair from reception for £3.
PILATES SOCKS
We require everyone to wear grip socks in all of our Reform classes. If you have purchased a welcome offer will be given a FREE pair which can be kept and used for future visits.
WATER
Staying hydrated is important so please remember to bring a bottle, we have a refill station in the studio or you can purchase bottled water from reception.

We are located right next to South Woodford Station Car Park. The entrance is to the left of Kome.
Travelling by tube: Go to South Woodford (Central Line) and we are directly next door to the station on the eastbound platform entrance/exit.
Driving: You can park for Free for 1 hour (between 8.30am -6.30pm) on George Lane (or surrounding rounds in the pay and display bays) using the RingGo app (download beforehand and enter your car details etc to save time). Outside these hours parking is unrestricted.
Do I need to Book a class or can I drop in?
Ideally yes! We have limited spots available per class so to avoid disappointment, it is best to pre-book before class.
Do you have classes for beginners?
All our fitness classes are available for everyone, at all levels. Whether you’re a complete newbie or not – our instructors will guide you and teach you all the skills to help you smash your class like a pro!
For our Reformer classes, we have different level classes across the week. We recommend anyone who hasn't done reformer before to book onto at least one beginners class before doing a mixed ability class.
How does the waitlist work?
✨ How the Waitlist Works
Our classes fill up fast - but don’t worry! If a class is fully booked, you can join the waitlist and still have a chance to get in. Here's how it works.
📋 Joining the Waitlist
When a class is full, you’ll see the option to join the waitlist when booking.
You must have an active membership or class credit to join.
🔔 Getting Added to Class
If someone cancels, the system will automatically move the next person on the waitlist into the class.
You’ll get an email or text notification if you’ve been added.
Some notifications may require confirmation - please check and respond if needed.
⏰ Timing Matters
We stop promoting waitlist spots up to 1 hour before class so you have time to get ready.
If you no longer wish to attend, please remove yourself from the waitlist to free up the spot for someone else.
✅ Tips for Success
Keep an eye on your email/texts, especially near class time.
Be ready to attend if you’re high up on the list - spots often open last-minute!

How do I cancel my class booking?
Follow the steps below to cancel your class booking:
✅ via Mindbody Desktop
1.Visit the Boxx LDN Booking Page
Go to boxxldn.com and click on “Book a Class”.
2.Log In to Your Account
Click on “My Account” in the top-right corner.
Enter your email and password to sign in.
3.Access Your Schedule
Once logged in, navigate to “Schedule” or “My Schedule” to view your upcoming bookings.
4.Select the Class to Cancel
Locate the class you wish to cancel.
Click on it to view details.
5.Cancel the Booking
Click the “Cancel” button associated with the class.
Confirm the cancellation when prompted.
You’ll get a notification or message showing that the class was successfully canceled.
✅ Via Mindbody App
1.Open the Mindbody App
Launch the Mindbody app on your iOS or Android device.
Make sure you're signed in with the account you used to book the class.
2.Go to Your Schedule
Tap on the Profile icon or "My Schedule" at the bottom menu.
You'll see a list of upcoming classes you’ve booked.
3.Find the Class You Want to Cancel
Scroll through your upcoming appointments or classes.
Tap on the class you wish to cancel.
4.Cancel the Class
You should see an option like "Cancel" or "Cancel Booking" on the class details screen.
Tap it.
5.Confirm the Cancellation
You may be asked to confirm the cancellation.
Confirm, and you’ll see a message indicating the class has been canceled.
You’ll get a notification or message showing that the class was successfully canceled.
What happens if I arrive late to class?
For first timers, please ensure you arrive 15 minutes before class otherwise you may not be allowed into class.
For existing customers, please arrive 5 minutes before the class starts so that you have time to get checked in, gear up and get yourself ready to go.
If you arrive more than 5 minutes late, due to health and safety reasons, you unfortunately won’t be allowed into class and if you are on class packs you will lose your credit.
What is your cancellation policy?
We operate a strict 12 hour cancellation policy.
With limited spots in class and high demand, late cancellations and no-shows stop others from getting in. So, we’ve tightened up our cancellation policy to make sure everyone has a fair shot at booking and showing up for the sessions they love.
If you cancel less than 12 hours before the class start time you will lose a credit or will be charged.

Can I extend my class pack?
All class packs have a clearly stated expiry date and are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-exchangeable.
We’re only able to offer extensions in exceptional circumstances (e.g. serious injury or medical issues), and holidays or general illness unfortunately do not qualify. If you believe your situation meets the criteria, please contact us before your pack expires and we’ll review on a case-by-case basis.
I am pregnant or have just had a baby can I join a class?
Pregnant women from 12 weeks onwards typically continue exercising at the same level of intensity you were used to pre-pregnancy. However, as a general rule it is not encouraged to increase the intensity of your exercise once you are pregnant. Please let us know in advance of the classes you wish to attend.
If you have recently had you’re baby, you're welcome to attend a class as soon as you have the go-ahead from a health professional (usually 6 weeks post birth) and you feel ready. Please also let the instructor know before class.

I'm Not receiving general booking/waitlist notifications?
If you aren't reciveing notifications from us, please follow the steps below:
📩 For Email Updates:
(via website or app).
(usually under your name/profile icon).
1. Log into the Mindbody Account (via website or app).
2. Go to Account Settings (usually under your name/profile icon).
3. Find the “Notifications” or “Communication Preferences” section.
4. Enable Email Notifications:
Check boxes for things like:
- appointment reminders
- class changes or cancellations
- promotions/newsletters (if desired)
5. Check Spam/Junk Folders:
Add the our email address: instudio@boxxldn.com to your contacts/safe sender list to avoid filtering.
📱 For Text (SMS) Updates:
Log into your Mindbody account.
Go to Account or Profile Settings.
Ensure your mobile number is entered correctly.
Opt-in for SMS Notifications:
There should be a checkbox or toggle for text reminders and updates.
Reply “YES” to opt-in confirmation if you receive a verification text from the business or Mindbody system.
Ensure your phone plan allows short code messaging, as some reminders come from short codes.
How do I cancel my membership
All Boxx memberships have a 3-month minimum commitment. After that, you can cancel at any time with 30 days’ notice.
To cancel, please email us at instudio@boxxldn.com with “Membership Cancellation” clearly in the subject line. Your cancellation will be confirmed by our team—please make sure to give us the full 30 days to avoid being charged for your next billing cycle.

Which classes are right for my child?
We group the classes based on age:
5-7 years
8-11 years
12+ years
What does my child need for their first class?
Please make sure that you send your child in comfortable clothing suitable for PE ie. shorts/joggers, tshirt + trainers (no crocs/uggs etc will be allowed). Please also provide your child with a water bottle.
Gloves will be provided for first class. After which time, if you wish to continue, You will be required to purchase our starter kit from £30. This includes a pair of Boxx gloves, tshirt and bag.

Travelling by tube: Go to Woodford Station (Central Line) and we are a 10 minute walk from the tube station.
Driving: You can park for Free in the school car park.
How much are your classes?
The first class is FREE.
If you wish your child to come thereafter, it is £40 per month.
We offer sibling and mutli-class discount:
Sibling discount is 10% - £72 per month for 2 children attending 1 class per week
Multi-class discount is 15% - £68 per month for a child attending 2 classes per week.
What is your cancellation policy?
If you wish to cancel your childs membership we require 30 days notice. Please contact us via email: kids@boxxldn.com to notify us.
